Student Testimony

My participation in the Role model programMy participation in the role model program from March 29^th, 2010 to April 1^st, 2010 was phenomenal. I was giving the opportunity to partake in various activities that allowed me to strengthen my focus as a student. On the first day we introduced our selves and became familiar with the various members, students and the history of the New York Coalition/ One hundred Black Women. On the March 29^th, we participated in various workshops as followed: Dress for Success Workshop, Skin/ Hair Care, True Colors/ Motivational Speaker, Money Management, and Dining Etiquette. The Dress for Success Workshop focused on our personal appearance and how we present ourselves to the world. The main message was for youths to dress for where they are going. Read more.. Click Here
